At dusk, offer ārti and the evening meal. One should imagine that Bhagwan Swaminarayan is seated in Akshardham in an assembly surrounded by muktas. Thereafter, serve Bhagwan Swaminarayan a delicious meal of your choice.

Shlok to be said before meal

શ્રીમત્સદ્‌ગુણશાલિનં ચિદચિદિ વ્યાપ્તં ચ દિવ્યાકૃતિં

જીવેશાક્ષર-મુક્ત-કોટિ-સુખદં નૈકાવતારાધિપમ્‌ ।

જ્ઞેયં શ્રીપુરુષોત્તમં મુનિવરૈ ર્વેદાદિકીર્ત્યં વિભું

તમ્મૂલાક્ષરયુક્તમેવ સહજાનન્દં ચ વન્દે સદા ।।

 

Shrimad sadguna-shālinam chid-achidi vyāptam cha divyākrutim

Jiveshākshar-mukta-koti-sukhadam naikāvatārādhipam I

Gneyam Shri-Purushottamam muni-varair vedādi-kirtyam vibhum

Tam-mulākshar-yuktam-eva Sahajānandam  cha vande sadā II

 

He who is adorned with eternal virtues; who is all-pervasive; whose form is divine.

He who endows jivas, ishwars and infinite muktas with bliss;  who is the cause of all avatars.

He whose glory is sung in the Vedas; who is worthy of being known even by the great munis.

To that Sahajānand [Swāmi] along with Mul Akshar [Gunātitānand Swāmi], I forever bow.

 

ૐ સહ નાવવતુ

સહ નૌ ભુનક્તુ

સહ વીર્યં કરવાવહૈ ।

તેજસ્વિ નાવધીતમસ્તુ

મા વિદ્વિષાવહૈ,

ૐ શાન્તિઃ શાન્તિઃ શાન્તિઃ ।।
 

Aum sahanāvavatu 

saha nou bhunaktu

saha-veeryam karavāvahai

 tejasvi-nāvadheetam-astu 

mā vidvishāvahai 

Aum Shāntihi! Shāntihi! Shāntihi!
 

May God protect us together. 

May he nourish us together. 

May we work together with vigour.

May we become enlightened together. 

May we never quarrel with each other. 

Let there be peace, peace, peace.
