Māre gher āvjo

મારે ઘેર આવજો છોગલાંધારી; લાડુ જલેબી ને સેવ સુંવાળી,
હું તો ભાવે કરી લાવી છું ઘારી...મારે ૧

Māre gher āvjo Chhogalādhārī; Lāḍu jalebī ne sev suvāḷī,

  Hu to bhāve karī lāvī chhu ghari...1

O Maharaj (who always wears a turban with the chhoglu! Come to my house.
I will lovingly offer you lādus, jalebis, sev, sunvāli and ghāri…1

 

સૂરણ પૂરણ ને ભાજી કારેલાં પાપડ વડી વઘારી;

વતાંક વાલોળનાં શાક કર્યાં,  મેં તો ચોળાફળી છમકારી... મારે ૨
 

Sūraṇ pūraṇ ne bhājī kārelā, Pāpaḍ vaḍi vaghārī;

Vantāk vāloḷnā shāk karyā, Me to choḷāfaḷī chhamkārī... māre 2

I have lovingly prepared puran poli, kārelā shāk, and pāpad vadi.
I have cooked the shāk of aubergines and peas and fried cholāfali...2

 

કાજુ કમોદના ભાત કર્યા, મેં તો દાળ કરી બહુ સારી;

લીંબુ કાકડીનાં લેજો અથાણાં, કઢી કરી છે કાઠિયાવાડી... મારે ૩
 

Kāju kamodnā bhāt karyā, Me to dāḷ karī bahu sārī;

Limbu kākḍīnā lejo athāṇā, Kaḍhī karī chhe Kāthiyāvāḍī... māre 3

I have prepared pulav and made the dāl very well.
Please have the pickle made of cucumber and lime. I have prepared kāthiyāvādi kadhi...3

 

લવિંગ સોપારી ને પાનબીડી વાળી, તજ એલચી જાવંત્રી સારી;

નિશદિન આવો તો ભાવે કરી ભેટું, એમ માગે જેરામ બ્રહ્મચારી... મારે ૪
 

Laving sopārī ne pānbīḍī vāḷī, Taj elchī jāvantrī sārī; 

Nishdin āvo to bhāve karī bheṭu, Em māge Jerām Brahmachārī... māre 4

I have prepared numerous types of mouth freshners, one including a pān.
Please come everyday so I, Jeram Bhramchari, can lovingly embrace you...4

 

Jamo thãl Jivan

જમો થાળ જીવન જાઉં વારી, ધોવું કર-ચરણ કરો ત્યારી 

બેસો મેલ્યા બાજોઠિયા ઢાળી, કટોરા કંચનની થાળી;

 જળે ભર્યા ચંબુ ચોખાળી... જમો થાળ ૧

Jamo thãl Jivan jãu vãri; dhou kar-charan karo tyãri 
Beso melyã bãjothiyã dhãli, katorã kanchanni thãli, jale bharyã chambu chokhãli... Jamo thãl 1

 O Jivan (Maharaj)! Please bless me and accept this offering; I will wash your hands and feet in preparation;
Please sit on the stool which has been laid out, with gold plate and bowls before you and a tumbler full of water…1

 

કરી કાઠા ઘઉંની પોળી, મેલી ઘૃત સાકરમાં બોળી; કાઢ્યો રસ કેરીનો ઘોળી... જમો થાળ ૨

Kari kathã ghauni poli, meli ghrut sãkarmã boli, kãdhyo ras kerino gholi...Jamo thãl 2

I have made wheat flour puranpuris, soaked in ghee and sugar; and have extracted (fresh) juice from mangoes…2

 

ગળ્યાં સાટાં ઘેબર ફૂલવડી, દૂધપાક માલપૂઆ કઢી;

 પૂરી પોચી થઈ છે ઘીમાં ચઢી... જમો થાળ ૩

Galyã sãtã ghebar fulvadi, dudhpãk mãlpuã kadhi, puri pochi thai chhe ghi mã chadhi...Jamo thãl 3

(I also offer) sweet sātā, ghebar, fulvadi, dudhpāk, mālpuā, kadhi; and soft puris fried in ghee…3

 

અથાણાં શાક સુંદર ભાજી, લાવી છું હું તરત કરી તાજી;

 દહીં ભાત સાકર છે ઝાઝી... જમો થાળ ૪

Athãnã shãk sundar bhaji, lãvi chhu tarat kari tãji, dahi bhãt sãkar chhe jhãjhi...Jamo thãl 4

I offer you pickles and cooked vegetables, all prepared fresh. There is rice and yogurt mixed with ample sugar...4

(પાંચ મિનિટ માનસી કરવી)

(A few minutes of meditation) In meditation visualise that Shriji Maharaj and Gunatit Sant are having their meal.

Then help them wash their hands and mouth and sing,

 

ચળું કરો લાવું જળઝારી, એલાયચી લવિંગ સોપારી;

 પાનબીડી બનાવી સારી... જમો થાળ ૫

Chalu karo lãvu hu jaljhãri, elãychi laving sopãri, pãnbidi banãvi sãri...5

Please wash your hands with the water I have brought; and accept the cardamom, cloves, betel nuts and (refreshing) betel leaf pāns that I have made…5

 

મુખવાસ મનગમતાં લઈને, પ્રસાદીનો થાળ મુને દઈને;

 ભૂમાનંદ કહે રાજી થઈને... જમો થાળ ૬

Mukhvãs mangamtã laine, prasãdino thãl mune daine, Bhumãnand kahe rãji thaine...6

Please take the mukhvās you like, and be pleased, says Bhumanand; and give me the (remainder) of the thāl (as prasād)…6

 

Jamo ne jamāḍu

જમો ને જમાડું રે જીવન મારા, 

હરિ રંગમાં રમાડું રે, જીવન મારા ૧

Jamo ne jamāḍu re jīvan mārā, 

Hari rangmā ramāḍu re, jīvan mārā... 1

Maharaj, please eat as I serve you.

Maharaj, I will play different games with you...1

 

વા’લાજી મારા સોનાનો થાળ મંગાવું, 
મોતીડે વધાવું રે, જીવન મારા ૨

Vā’lājī mārā sonāno thāḷ mangāvu, 

Motiḍe vadhāvu re, jīvan mārā... 2

My beloved Maharaj, I ordered a golden plate for you,

Maharaj, I welcome you with pearls...2

 

વા’લાજી મારા ઘેબર જલેબી ને લાડુ, 

જમો ને થાય ટાઢું રે, જીવન મારા ૩

Vā’lājī mārā ghebar jalebī ne lāḍu, 

Jamo ne thāy ṭāḍhu re, jīvan mārā... 3

My beloved Maharaj, please eat the sweets - jalebi and lādu 

before they get cold...3

 

વા’લાજી મારા ગૌરીનાં ઘૃત મંગાવું,

માંહી સાકર નંખાવું રે, જીવન મારા ૪

Vā’lājī mārā gaurinā ghrut mangāvu, 

Māhī sākar nankhāvu re, jīvan mārā... 4

My beloved Maharaj, I will order milk from the cow Gauri,  Maharaj, I add sugar to it...4

 

વા’લાજી મારા દૂધ કઢેલાં ભલી ભાતે,

 જમો ને આવી ખાંતે રે, જીવન મારા ૫

Vā’lājī mārā dūdh kaḍhelā bhalī bhāte, 

Jamo ne āvī khānte re, jīvan mārā... 5

My beloved Maharaj, I have boiled the milk in a good way, happily come and eat Maharaj...5

 

વા’લાજી મારા પાપડ પતાસાં ને પોળી,

 જમો ને ગળી મોળી રે, જીવન મારા ૬

Vā’lājī mārā pāpaḍ patāsā ne poḷī, 

Jamo ne gaḷī moḷī re, jīvan mārā... 6

My beloved Maharaj, eat pāpad, patāsā, and poli, 

Maharaj, please eat sweet and plain puri...6

 

વા’લાજી મારા તુવેરની દાળ ચઢી ભારે,

 વિશેષે વઘારી રે, જીવન મારા ૭

Vā’lājī mārā tuvernī dāḷ chaḍhī bhāre, 

Visheshe vaghārī re, jīvan mārā... 7

My beloved Maharaj, I have cooked for you pigeon peas dāl well,

 Maharaj, I have spiced them uniquely...7 

 

વા’લાજી મારા કઢી કરી છે બહુ સારી, 

જમો ને ગિરધારી રે, જીવન મારા ૮

Vā’lājī mārā kaḍhī karī chhe bahu sārī, 

Jamo ne Girdhārī re, jīvan mārā... 8

My beloved Maharaj, I have made very nice kadhi; oh life of mine, please eat it...8

 

વા’લાજી મારા આદાં કેરીનાં અથાણાં, 

છે વાલ ને વટાણા રે, જીવન મારા ૯

Vā’lājī mārā ādā kerīnā athāṇā, 

Chhe vāl ne vaṭāṇā re, jīvan mārā... 9

My beloved Maharaj, there is ginger and mango pickle, there are beans and peas...9

 

વા’લાજી મારા જે જે જોઈએ તે માગી લેજો, 

ખારું ને મોળું કહેજો રે, જીવન મારા ૧૦

Vā’lājī mārā je je joī te māgī lejo,

 Khāru ne moḷu kahejo re, jīvan mārā... 10

My beloved Maharaj whatever you want, just ask for it, and please tell me if it is salty or tasteless...10

 

વા’લાજી મારા જળ રે જમુનાની ભરી ઝારી, 

ઊભા છે બ્રહ્મચારી રે, જીવન મારા ૧૧

Vā’lājī mārā jaḷ re jamunānī bharī jhārī, 

Ubhā chhe Brahmachārī re, jīvan mārā... 11

My beloved Maharaj, I have filled a cup of water from the Jamuna river, this Brahmchari is standing. Maharaj I...11

 

વા’લાજી મારા લવિંગ સોપારી તજ તાજાં, 

જમો ને લાવું ઝાઝાં રે, જીવન મારા ૧૨

Vā’lājī mārā laving sopārī taj tājā, 

Jamo ne lāvu jhājhā re, jīvan mārā... 12

My beloved Maharaj, I offer you fresh cloves, betel nuts, and cinnamon and I will bring plenty more for you...12

 

વા’લાજી મારા પ્રેમાનંદના સ્વામી, 

છો અંતરયામી રે, જીવન મારા ૧૩

Vā’lājī mārā Premānandnā Swāmī,

 Chho antaryāmī re, jīvan mārā... 13

My beloved Maharaj, you are for Premanand Swami,
