Why not schedule alarm reminders throughout the day to remind you to perform mānsi
Meaning
Mānsi puja is a form of meditation where one visualises oneself serving Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the Gunatit Sant. Just as we physically perform pujan of and serve the murtis of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the Gunatit Sant by using flowers, fruits and other items, we should also mentally offer pujan and service as though they are physically present before us. This is called mānsi pujā or mental worship.
Significance
Mānsi pujā attaches the mind to Bhagwan Swaminarayan and so helps to calm the mind. A stable mind enables one to concentrate on one’s duties, such as studies, work, business, etc. Scientific research reveals that remembering joyful moments pacifies and focuses the mind. That is what mānsi pujā is – joyful thoughts of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the Gunatit Sant.
To physically serve Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the Gunatit Sant is not always possible. Therefore, mānsi pujā is a perfect opportunity to constantly connect with both and offer our devotion.
In mānsi, one serves Bhagwan Swaminarayan mentally, just as they would do physically, allowing devotees to offer their devotion in many different ways, transcending the limitations of time, place, ability and wealth.
Bhagwan Swaminarayan in Vachanamrut Gadhada III 23 has described in detail how to perform mānsi pujā.
