On 2 September 2025, in Himmatnagar, India, His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj consecrated the first jharukho (ornate window) of the upcoming BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir in Paris, France.
After blessing the traditional architectural feature with a Vedic ceremony, Swamishri prayed for the swift and successful completion of the Mandir.
The jharukho forms the first of a series of 70 such carved stone windows that will adorn this spiritual, cultural, and architectural landmark – the first traditional Hindu temple in France.
