Shri Hafeshwar Mahadev Mandir is situated at Kawant Tehsil on the banks of the holy River Narmada in Gujarat, India. Whenever the water level of River Narmada rose, much of this ancient mandir would be submerged in water. So, the trustees of the mandir decided to relocate this Shiv Mandir with the help of the Gujarat government. However, this project was frequently delayed. Hence, Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj was requested by the government and the mandir's trustees to complete the mandir relocation project. Swamishri instructed the swamis and volunteers of BAPS to undertake the task of building the mandir in the new location. Thus, the mandir construction was soon completed and on 24 April 2002, the consecration of the new Hafeshwar Mahadev Mandir took place. Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj represented Pramukh Swami Maharaj on this auspicious occasion to perform the Vedic consecration rituals. Mahant Swami Maharaj sat in the sanctum sanctorum of the new mandir for the consecration ceremony. But, as other guests arrived, he kept making room for them. Eventually, even though he was the chief guest, Mahant Swami Maharaj himself sat in the corner of the room. Mahant Shri Narmadadasji of Shri Hafeshwar temple was astonished to see this humility of Mahant Swami Maharaj, and he immediately called him and made him sit on the main seat to perform the main consecration rituals. Now, 20 years after this historic occasion, 18 Shivlings will be consecrated at the Shri Hafeshwar Mahadev Mandir. Thus, on 20 February 2022, Mahant Swami Maharaj performed the Vedic pujan of all the Shivlings in the presence of Mahant Sri Narmadadasji of Shri Hafeshwar Mandir. Tributes to Mahant Swami Maharaj, who constantly encourages every work of Sanatan Hindu Dharma.
