Group 1: (6-9yrs)

  1. How many of you can swim? How long can you swim? How many lengths can you swim? What happens to you when you try to swim harder? 

(Ans: Parents to help children understand that one gets tired and tends to take deep breaths, which shows that one needs more air to breathe) 

  1. When Ghanshyam came out of water, he was seen by everyone at the bank - walking on water and in the form of Bhagwan Ramchandraji. What does this show about his true form? (Ans - That he is God - Supreme God; ordinary humans cannot do what Ghanshyam did). 
  2. Discuss what other divine actions Ghanshyam showed to his family and others at the river bank. 
  3. Do you think that God is God only if he shows miracles? Discuss in detail as a family. 

Group 2: (10-13yrs)

  1. How many of you can swim? If so, how long could you swim? Can you go under water? Ghanshyam went under water and stayed there for a very long time! Discuss why this is not possible by a human. What does this tell you about Ghanshyam?
  2. When Ghanshyam came out of water, he was seen by everyone at the bank - walking on water and in the form of Bhagwan Ramchandraji. What does this show about his true form? (Ans - That he is God - Supreme God; ordinary humans cannot do what Ghanshyam did). 
  3. What other divine actions Ghanshyam showed to his family and others at the river bank. Discuss why Ghanshyam showed such divinity and miracles to his family and others around him? (Ans: To help everyone realise his true form and to help them attain moksha by his association).
  4. Do you think that God is God only if he shows miracles? Discuss in detail as a family. 

Activity - Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan showed the divine chinhahs on his feet to many aspirants and devotees. Colour the chinhas and learn the names. How many are there on each foot?
