(Vachanamrut Loya 1: Anger, Developing Complete Satsang)

Extract:

On Kārtik vadi 10, Samvat 1877 [30 November 1820], Swāmi Shri Sahajānandji Mahārāj was sitting on a large, decorated cot in the residential hall of the paramhansas in Surā Khāchar’s darbār in Loyā. He was wearing a white, cotton-padded survāl and a white dagli made of chhint. He had also tied a white feto around His head. At that time, an assembly of munis as well as devotees from various places had gathered before Him.

For example, if a person contracts tuberculosis, no medicine would be able to cure the disease; he would definitely die. Similarly, one who harbors an aversion towards the Sant should be known as having tuberculosis; he will certainly fall from Satsang sometime in the future.

Discussion Points:

  1. Is it OK to take abhav avgun of haribhakto?
    1. NO. This then leads on to abhav avgun of Pujya Santo, then the Satpurush, then Bhagwan.
  2. Why is abhav avgun so bad? How can it ruin our lives?
  3. What steps can we take to ensure that we avoid all forms of abhav avgun?
    1. Take a few answers

The Vachanamrut: An Unexpected Journey || Act VII – Every Action... One Question...

Every action, one question. Is Swami Raji?

(8:34 to 11:48)

Activity - Nails in wood:

What you will need: a piece of wood, some nails, a hammer

  1. Remember how many times we might have taken abhav-avgun in the last month (by thought: thinking bad about someone, by deed - doing bad to someone or by speech - saying bad things about someone).Whilst remembering each instance, hammer a nail into the piece of wood.
  2. Once that is complete, remember each day that you didn’t take abhav avgun and remove that nail from the piece of wood.MORAL: You have done well but look at the holes in the wood. The piece of wood will never be the same. When you take abhav avgun of haribhaktas (which can then lead on to Pujya Santos and the Satpurush), they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound is still there. So, if you want to not fall from the path of Satsang and if you want to guarantee your place in Akshardham and gain Maharaj and Swami’s rajipo, NEVER TAKE ABHAV AVGUN OF ANYONE.(NOTE: If someone is doing something genuinely wrong, Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj has given agna in the Satsang Diksha (shloka 166) that if extremely necessary, it is acceptable to convey the truth with pure intent to an authorised person, However, we should not keep pointing fingers at them and taking their abhav avgun. Leave it to Bhagwan, the Sant and (if necessary) the authorised person.)
