‘Timeless Hindu Wisdom’ is a new web series presented by learned swamis of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha. It aims to deliver insightful teachings from ancient Hindu scriptures in a contemporary, bite-sized format.

Session 6 sees Yogvivekdas Swami explore teachings from the Ramayan and how they can help us cope with the current global crisis. The 30-minute talk included a short Q&A.

Originally from Leicester, Yogvivekdas Swami completed a degree in Medicine and practiced as a doctor before taking initiation as a sadhu by Pramukh Swami Maharaj in 1992. He spent six years in India undertaking a deep study of Hindu scriptures. He is the head sadhu at the Neasden Temple and has been leading BAPS activities in UK and Europe for the last 20 years. He is a leading and respected Hindu figure across the continent. Currently, he is managing the voluntary effort by BAPS in the wake of this global pandemic.
Alongside these administrative duties, he has spoken and written extensively on Hindu teachings and values.

This session was webcast from BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London, UK, on Tuesday 5 May 2020 at 7:30pm BST.
