'Timeless Hindu Wisdom’ is a new web series presented by the learned swamis of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha. It aims to deliver insightful teachings from ancient Hindu scriptures in a contemporary, bite-sized format.
Session 15 sees Tyagprakashdas Swami conclude exploring 'secrets' from the Mahabharat on how to be loved, free of sorrow, wealthy and happy.
Tyagprakashdas Swami graduated from Nottingham University in Electrical Engineering before going on to complete a PhD in Physics at Surrey University. He was initiated as a sadhu by Pramukh Swami Maharaj in 1986 and spent five years in India studying Sanskrit, Hindu literature and philosophy. Having served in BAPS temples in India and Houston, he currently travels across the UK nourishing spiritual centres through his thought-provoking talks. With his wealth of experience in the sciences complemented by his knowledge of the Hindu scriptures, he brings a deep and rich outlook in applying Hindu principles to our modern lives.
