Pramukh Swami Maharaj opened the hari mandir in Neasden, London, in 1982 during his fourth visit as guru to the UK. The new premises, converted from a disused warehouse on Meadow Garth, were to play a significant role in inspiring the devotees to fulfil the vision of creating a traditional shikharbaddha mandir in London.
