‘Timeless Hindu Wisdom’ is a new web series presented by learned swamis from the Neasden Temple. It aims to deliver insightful teachings from ancient Hindu scriptures in a contemporary, bite-sized format.
Session 2 sees Paramtattvadas Swami explore more teachings from the Mahabharat and how they can help us cope with the current global crisis. The 20-minute talk was followed by a short Q&A.
Originally from Leicester, Paramtattvadas Swami was initiated as a sadhu by His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj in 1992. He studied Hindu scriptures in India for 14 years, as well as for a Master's in Sanskrit, before returning to England to read for a Master’s in Religion at the University of Oxford. His PhD in Hindu Theology was published as a book by Cambridge University Press.
This session was webcast from BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London, UK, on Tuesday 7 April 2020 at 7:30pm.
